I’m sure our Cigar Thief shoppers located in many regions of America and the world where more smoker friendly temperatures exist in February are continuing to enjoy their favorite cigars wherever and whenever they want. Good for all of you! Here in Arizona, the mornings and nights are cold but the days and evenings are delightful. But many, many of our cigar lovers dealing with ice, snow, sleet, freezing rain, frigid temperatures and all the other unfavorable traits that go with living where they do are not just waiting for the calendar to change in order to enjoy their favorite blends.
From December through March small cigars and cigarillos produced by most of the major manufacturers increase in sales dramatically. It’s no surprise that those of us who love fine cigars want the same quality when we only have five or ten minutes outside to spare. Weather it’s walking the dog, taking out the trash , spending time in the garage or just going out and about to avoid getting cabin fever, enjoying these smaller premiums is satisfying as well as economical. It’s hard to justify lighting up a cigar that takes 45 minutes or more to properly finish and snuff it out just when it’s starting to get good! In fact , many of us keep them on hand all year round. I’m sure you have a favorite or two, but in case you’re new to this ever growing category, check a few of my go-to choices. And please let us know if there are any others out there you think we need to check out to offer the rest of our friends.
