Description
Kentucky Fire Cured Sweets is the second version of this totally unique cigar. To begin with, Jonathan Drew’s creation of Drew Estate started a revolution of amazing cigars. From Acid to Liga Privada , Undercrown, Herrera Esteli and beyond.
Kentucky Seed tobacco grows in ideal climate and conditions in the heart of Hopkinsville, Kentucky. At this point, when they mature they hang in the tobacco barns. Here the leaves undergo a smoking process for 14 days using hardwoods such as oak, maple and hickory. What must be remembered is this process has been used for over 200 years. Drew Estate was the first to use it for premium cigars.
With attention to detail, the blend features Kentucky seed tobacco, grown and fire cured in Kentucky, along with Nicaraguan and Brazilian fillers. The cigar is then wrapped with a Mexican San Andres wrapper to round out the flavor profile. The difference with this edition is the sweetened tip.
The result is a smoking experience that is unlike any other in the world of premium cigars. There are so many descriptions of these smokes, you’re better off trying them to decide for yourself. The best summary was, “The mouth feel on the cigar is like bacon maple goodness mixed with bourbon and barbecue.” There you go!
To sum up, Kentucky Fire Cured Sweets is available in 5 popular sizes of ten count bundles. There’s also tins of small cigarillos as well.
