Description
Fratello Arlequin is another extraordinary smoke from this great company coming to market in 2020. To begin with, after working for 12 years at NASA and managing a 5 billion dollar science budget, cigar lover Omar de Frias walked away from a $200,000 a year job to follow his passion for cigars. From inception, Fratello Cigars has earned 90+ ratings in all major US publications and has been featured in over 30 publications including The Washington Post, Tobacconist Magazine, Cigar Aficionado and CigarSnob.
With attention to detail, the Arlequin possesses a dark, oily wrapper that’s silky to the touch. This blend is sporting a Mexican wrapper with an Ecuadorian binder and filler tobaccos from Peru and Nicaragua.
Cigar Dojo rates it a respectable 90. Their description is…well….very descriptive. “The smoke is smooth in character, offering jungle-like flavors throughout. Think vegetation-rich soil, ripe juiciness, and a unique Banana Runts sweetness. It’s an atypical experience that earns its place for those on the constant hunt for flavor challenges to the palate.”
With this in mind, Cigar Aficionado bestows a generous score of 91. Their words say it all. ” There is a rusty, reddish hue to the dark wrapper of this thick toro, which draws and burns evenly. First puffs of oak and leather are brightened by sweeter notes of chocolate, caramel and nougat. The finish hints of coffee bean.” Whoever you believe, without doubt, Arlequin is a must try!
To sum up, Fratello. Arlequin is available in two popular sizes of 20 count boxes.

The medium bodied Fratello Arlequin was introduced around the
summer of 2021. This cigar is loaded with tobacco and has a bit of a tight draw. The flip side is it’s very slow burning allowing you to taste the unique qualities it possesses. C/A’s description below said it beast;
“Box-pressed with a dark, oily wrapper that’s silky to the touch. Nutty, woody notes are inlaid with hints of coffee bean, mint and spice before the toasty finish.”
I recommend you let an inch burn off to let things get settled before
digging in.
