Plasencia Reserva Original’s Nicaraguan mild to medium bodied blend is encased with a dark, oily toothy wrapper so you know whatever flavors are produced will be pronounced. The most interesting note about this cigar is that all the leaves used have been aged five years after being grown totally organically. There’s a lot of naturally sweet tobacco flavors and fruity citrusy notes throughout. As you move it along there’s a slight increase in body and strength along with a bit of peppery spice. Some folks picked out hardwoods and nuts about mid way through. All in all, Plasencia Reserva Original is an anytime cigar that’s as good with a
morning coffee as it is with whiskey, bourbon or wine.
