Happy End Of Winter!
Friday, May 20, 2022 Category: Cigar 101HAPPY END OF WINTER!!
It been a long , cold and hard one in more ways than climate. While many of our terrific shoppers have been bombarded by the elements, all of us have been trying to get used to paying more for just about everything we buy. We here at Cigar Thief have seen so many announcements of price increases, we just wait around to see what company is next. We constantly hear all the bullet points,
- Supply Chain Issues
- Rising Inflation
- Increased Gas and Energy costs
- Russian aggression
- Stock market volatility
You can add any others if you’d like to.
I guess we can all agree on what we can’t change about most of what’s going on. With the exception of sending our thoughts and prayers to the people of Ukraine hoping this senseless violence ends, we’re all in this together
After talking with so many of you over these last few months, it’s been great hearing about what we’re all looking forward to as the spring and summer approaches. Enjoying our favorite cigars from start to finish outdoors is definitely tops on the long list. Many of you are getting you collector cars, boats and various vehicles ready for new adventures and overall enjoyment. Since we have so many car people within our group, you folks should know I sold my Jaguar after a year and bought a real interesting little car. I bought a Chili Red 2022 John Cooper Works Mini Cooper
pocket rocket with a manual six speed transmission.
As much as I liked the sleek, luxurious F-Type Jag, I still yearned for something , small, fast and being able to shift through the gears myself to be engaged.
Some of our long time followers will notice this is my third new car in less than three years since I’ve retired and you’d be correct. I guess the older I get, the more I realize there’s much more time behind me than ahead. With that thought in mind, I’d like to be able to enjoy this hobby for as long as I can. And I still have my eye on the next one!
But enough about me. All is well for me and my wife Jennifer here in Arizona. We’ve overcome numerous health challenges as have many of the Cigar Thief Team with Covid being included. It seems as though we’re all good to go…..at least for now!
As you shop on our site, you’ll no doubt see many new brand entries in all price ranges. We’ve been hard at work during the winter giving you the best selection we can at the best prices. Stay in touch as you’ve been doing to keep us informed if we’re hitting or missing the mark for you. Your feedback in any form is taken very seriously by all of us. We want to offer what you want, when you want it for the lowest cost we can.
As I’ve said more than a few times, “No Customers, No Dinner!” And we meant it, literally. So pull off those car and pool covers, dust off the jet skis, get out the golf clubs and bring out the outdoor grills. Fun in the sun is coming for all of us!
Cheer,
Richie
