    Espinosa Special Release Wasabi

    This gently box-pressed Candela wrapped edition is an “out of the box” stick that deserves your attention. I can only think of two other grass colored cigars that I’ve enjoyed. This one is my favorite. Topped with a dark brown head cap, the undisclosed fillers and binder clearly produce a powerful combination of sweetness and spice resulting in a medium to full-bodied stick that gains strength and intensity as you move along. Buckle up!!

    This Limited Edition uses a blend containing vintage grade Nicaraguan leaves hand picked by Erik. Encasing these fillers and binder is a spectacular Ecuadorian Habano Rosado wrapper. The results are as you expect. The highly critical folks at Blind Man’s Puff rate it a 93.

    There’s no doubt this is a full-flavored cigar containing hearty Nicaraguan fillers and binder leaves. Encasing this vintage blend is a  gorgeous Mexican San Andreas Capa Negra wrapper. This beautifully box pressed cigar offers a deep and rich smoking experience full of cocoa and sweet spices.

    Rating this great cigar at 90, noted Reviewer KATMAN states. “This is a cigar I would love to always have in my humidor. It is consistent, interesting, and wonderfully complex.”

    Espinosa Laranja Reserva is one of this company’s highest rated cigars.

    Laranja Reserva is the first Espinosa cigar incorporating a Brazilian wrapper. Laranja which is the Portuguese word for orange, hence the orange tint. Underneath this unique wrapper are vintage grade Nicaraguan filler and binder leaves. The result is what you’d expect.

    At the time of its release, noted reviewer KATMAN says it was Espinosa’s best cigar to date with a draw better than perfect. The critics at Cigar Dojo rate it a stellar 93 and rave. “Full flavor, full strength, full everything! An abundance of flavors, combined with premium tobaccos with a nice body to back makes this an absolutely stellar cigar.”

    Not to mention the best words of praise by Cigar Aficionado. “Laranja serves as a bright and flavorful showcase for the wrapper, offering plenty of graham cracker flavor.     Courtesy of CIGAR COOP: The ZDT is a Nicaraguan puro highlighted by a Nicaraguan Corojo wrapper. The Corojo wrapper is appropriate because Corojo has long been associated with the Pinar del Rio region. This is the first major Espinosa release to use the Corojo wrapper. The cigar was produced at AJ Fernandez’s San Lotano factory in Ocotal, Nicaragua. Director of Operations Hector Alfonso spearheaded the blend.

    Earning a 90 rating, Cigar Coop emphatically states this cigar earns a Standard of Excellence designation.

    Espinosa Knuckle Sandwich Connecticut is one of the great entries from a collaboration between Erik Espinosa and Celebrity Chef Guy Fieri.

    This Connecticut jewel utilizes a beautiful Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper encasing Nicaraguan filler and binder leaves creating a subtle yet flavorful cigar. The results are as expected.

    Halfwheel exclaims this cigar is “a flavor bomb of almost epic proportions” “Rich notes of roasted peanuts and sweet cloves combine with a well-integrated strength level that falls just shy of the medium mark.”
    Blind Man’s Puff rates it a 91. Their words are spot on. “The smoke is so silky and soft on the palate.  The The finish is still very long with some nice cinnamon ticking the tip of the tongue. Flavors and construction were all good throughout.”

    No doubt this third entry of the now famous Knuckle Sandwich line is another hit. If you’re a fan of Espinosa cigars and appreciate a more milder smoke, this one is for you.

    Espinosa Knuckle Sandwich Habano is one of the great entries from a collaboration between Eric Espinosa and Celebrity Chef Guy Fieri.

    All of these cigars come out of A.J. Fernández’s northernmost San Lotano factory in Ocotal, Nicaragua. The Ecuadorian Habano wrapper encases  a very special all-Nicaraguan tobaccos throughout the binder/filler. In fact, this blend was 18 months in the making. The results speak for themselves.

    With this in mind, Noted reviewer KATMAN and Cigar Dojo score it a 91.
    Cigar Aficionado rated this great cigar a 93. They feel is a spectacular smoke. They say, “ The Corona Gorda produces a dense, ample smoke full of pistachio, almond and orange peel notes. Spicy accents of red and black pepper—and a big snap of leather—lead to a smoked hickory finish.”

    It’s no surprise this one became a top 25 cigar for the year as well.
