Montecristo Ciudad De Musica is a collaboration with boutique cigar manufacturer Crowned Heads.
With attention to detail, each Ciudad de Música cigar showcases a luxuriant mélange of filler tobaccos grown in the most fertile soils of Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. What’s more important is that each component of this ultra-premium offering is vintage grade and meticulous. No doubt, the result is an impeccable, medium-bodied masterpiece, with an intricate profile of rich flavor. These very special cigars come elegantly adorned with attractive oversized bands displaying three tokens that call to each brand’s logo, as well as giving a nod to the cigar’s inspired namesake.
Cigar Coop gave this cigar a rating of 92. I guess Jon Huber of Crowned Heads and Master Blender Ernesto Perez-Carrillo turned out a winner for sure! If you’re a fan of Montecristo and Crowned Heads, this one must be in you humidor ASAP!

The Ferio Tego 2021 Limited Edition actually consists of two spectacular cigars from this great company. Each one is 6×50 sized Toro blended by Michael and produced by two legendary makers.
Each of these cigars can stand alone and reign at the top of the cigar food chain. There’s no doubt that both offer a thoroughly unique and satisfying smoking experience.
Halfwheel rates the Elegancia a score of 91. They sum it up nicely. “Ferio Tego Elegancia is an excellent cigar. The cigar features a dominant nuttiness from near start to finish, a full and smooth profile, and excellent construction.”

La Gloria Cubana Criollo De Oro represents a special blending achievement for this iconic company.
Criollo de Oro uses a very rare sun grown criollo de oro wrapper from Mao, Dominican Republic. The binder is Grade A Connecticut Broadleaf maduro along with select fillers from Honduras and Nicaragua. Combining the versatile Criollo ’98 with the rare Cuban seed Pelo de Oro is an accomplishment to say the least. What’s more important are the results.
Noted reviewer KATMAN rates it a respectable 90. His claim…”The cigar has goes from shy and smooth to big bold flavors accompanying serious complexity.” Leaf Enthusiast giving it the same number by saying it’s a smooth medium-bodied smoke right out of the gate. Think notes of cedar, dark fruit, roasted nuts, chocolate and a bit little red pepper sharpness. Cigar Coop recommends it to all cigar enthusiasts. Blind Man’s Puff simply says “It’s a great stick.”

Their conclusion was a simple….”Its dark notes of chocolate and coffee with a moderate finish makes this cigar a winner!” Halfwheel gives it the same score with a great description as well. “This is my favorite cigar I’ve smoked from La Flor Dominicana, a cigar where the complexity and nuance isn’t intimated by the richness.”
