PDR 1878 Maduro
$161.62 – $196.54PDR 1878 Maduro is officially known as the PDR 1878 Recordando a Santiago Edición Capa Madura.
This edition utilizes the same internal blend as it’s Natural counterpart, the big difference here is the wrapper. The dark and oily San Andres Grade A Maduro leaf encasing the filler/binder is a joy to behold. The result is another smooth smoking any time of the day cigar with a bit more character. It’s also got some nice flavor notes. Think dark chocolate, spice, earth, leather, and vanilla for starters.
Cigar Aficionado pleasantly claims this cigar is a primarily sweet and woody smoke with a toffee note and toasty finish. The Stick Stickler… “Where cigars are put to the test.” Rates this PDR a very respectable 92. They think this smoke is just delicious with subtle sweetness and traditional flavors. Cigar Advisor feels the construction and draw are ideal, and the profile is steady and entertaining.
The old school Pig Tail Cap is a bonus all cigar smokers will appreciate.

Hiram & Solomon Traveling Man
$195.00 – $220.00Hiram & Solomon Traveling Man is another great edition coming from the Plasencia factory. This incredible blend uses an Indonesian Sumatra wrapper encasing a complex array of vintage leaves. It’s safe to say that this cigar is a hit.
Cigar & Spirits plainly states. “This medium-bodied cigar has a Sumatran wrapper and a rich aroma with hints of spice and coffee. The finish is soft and subtle with notes of cocoa leather and a creamy texture.” They give it a rating of 94.
But the best description and rating definitely goes to Stogie Press with an astonishing score of 97. Their words say it all. “Overall, the Traveling Man was one of those memorable cigars that will keep your palate intrigued with complex flavors and aromas from foot to nub.”
