This version uses a Dominican binder, a bevy of Nicaraguan Habano filler leaves, and is topped in an Ecuador Habano Sungrown wrapper. The result is a smooth mild to medium bodied smoke with rich and creamy flavors. Think natural tobacco, citrus, cafe latte and toffee for starters. The results don’t surprise us.
The Cigar Inspector claims this cigar is great from start to nub. Everyone at Blind Man’s Puff loves this blend. Their rating is a very respectable 93. This PDR is the culmination of select Viso, Seco and Ligero tobaccos. The result is a mild to medium-body cigar of exceptional quality. The wrapper is a very silky Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade contributing to its mild flavor and slightly sweet character. The result is balance and smoothness from start to finish. Flavor notes? Think herbal, hardwood, cinnamon raisin toast, vanilla, oak and citrus for starters. There’s also a welcome bit of tasty spice that in no way is overcoming to the overall blend.
