PDR Gran Reserva Corojo
$136.62 – $370.19PDR Gran Reserva Corojo is one of seven within this very popular series.
This Gran Reserva uses a very rare Corojo 2006 Dominican wrapper encasing a mix of Dominican Corojo and Nicaraguan Habano tobaccos. The result is a medium to slightly full body smoking experience via a perfect draw. The critics agree!
Cigar Lovers Magazine heartily recommend this cigar with a 90 rating. Cigar Coop scores this Corojo a respectable 91. Their take…..”The flavor notes such as cinnamon and exotic spice were flavors that surprised me coming from a PDR cigar. If you like a cigar that delivers a lot of cedar and a variety of spices, this is going to be the cigar for you. This is a cigar I would recommend to either the experienced or novice cigar enthusiast.” Stogie Press thinks this PDR is an outstanding smoke. Noted reviewer KATMAN claims the flavor profile is amazing. Think creaminess, spice, sweetness, cocoa, vanilla, honey and cedar for starters.
It’s safe to say this is another winner from Abe Flores.

PDR 1878 Natural
$140.33 – $188.37PDR 1878 Natural is officially known as the PDR 1878 Recordando a Santiago Edición Capa Natural.
This PDR is the culmination of select Viso, Seco and Ligero tobaccos. The result is a mild to medium-body cigar of exceptional quality. The wrapper is a very silky Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade contributing to its mild flavor and slightly sweet character. The result is balance and smoothness from start to finish. Flavor notes? Think herbal, hardwood, cinnamon raisin toast, vanilla, oak and citrus for starters. There’s also a welcome bit of tasty spice that in no way is overcoming to the overall blend.
Without doubt this cigar is another winner for PDR and Abe Flores by becoming an any time of the day smoke.

PDR 1878 Maduro
$161.62 – $196.54PDR 1878 Maduro is officially known as the PDR 1878 Recordando a Santiago Edición Capa Madura.
This edition utilizes the same internal blend as it’s Natural counterpart, the big difference here is the wrapper. The dark and oily San Andres Grade A Maduro leaf encasing the filler/binder is a joy to behold. The result is another smooth smoking any time of the day cigar with a bit more character. It’s also got some nice flavor notes. Think dark chocolate, spice, earth, leather, and vanilla for starters.
Cigar Aficionado pleasantly claims this cigar is a primarily sweet and woody smoke with a toffee note and toasty finish. The Stick Stickler… “Where cigars are put to the test.” Rates this PDR a very respectable 92. They think this smoke is just delicious with subtle sweetness and traditional flavors. Cigar Advisor feels the construction and draw are ideal, and the profile is steady and entertaining.
The old school Pig Tail Cap is a bonus all cigar smokers will appreciate.

PDR El Trovador A Flores Maduro
$246.20 – $280.90PDR El Trovador A Flores Maduro is one of two excellent cigars in this line.
El Trovador Maduro contains the same complex blend as it’s Rosado counterpart. The big difference here is the wrapper. Adding a grade A dark and oily Mexican Maduro leaf to encase the filler/binder makes for a special smoke. Retaining it’s medium body, the maduro wrapper adds a sweetness to the overall taste. Think notes of chocolate and earth and spice for starters.
Cigar Century gives this dark knight a respectable 90 rating. Cigar Aficionado ups the score to 91 with a perfect description. “This box pressed cigar is cloaked in a dark, oily wrapper. Bold impressions of red pepper, leather and oak are balanced by sweeter notes of cherry and chocolate. The finish smacks of coffee bean. It draws evenly throughout.”
Without a doubt, this Abe Flores creation is another winner for PDR.
