This darkly wrapped edition is known for giving brand fans a bit more character than the original blend. Using a grade A Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper starts thing off. Tweaking the legendary Honduran filler with Dominican leaves adds to the smoothness. The result is a medium to slightly full bodied smoke from start to finish. Think charred hard woods, chocolate, black pepper and natural tobacco taste via a great draw. The aromatic smoke is a bonus.

Diesel Whiskey Row
$167.99 – $193.99Diesel Whiskey Row is another unique collaboration with AJ Fernandez along with Diesel and the Rabbit Hole Bourbon distillery.
The binder leaves were aged in bourbon barrels from Rabbit Hole Distillery that were initially placed at the factory since 2016. The rest of the blend uses a dark 5 year old Ecuadorian Habano wrapper and fillers tobaccos from the 3 top growing regions of Nicaragua. And each of these leaves has been aged for 5 to 8 years. The result is an amazing medium to slightly full bodied smoke to say the least!
Blind Man’s Puff emphatically states, “The smoke output and construction were spot on and it’s hard to find fault with anything.” To further illustrate the characteristics, noted reviewer KATMAN describes it perfectly. “Lovely components of honey, marzipan, caramel, custard, whipped cream, black licorice, and malted milk balls. It took about ten years for CAO to come up with this darkly wrapped counterpart to their legendary gold line. Cigar Aficionado had kind words in 2007 for this flavorful and medium bodied maduro, as well. “Near black, this cigar has a solid core of sweet tobacco, complemented by nuts, coffee and a hint of leather on the finish.” It goes to show you that after 15 years, this cigar is still a winner!
