Description
Alec Bradley Kintsugi is the third creation from the company founder’s sons, Alec and Bradley Rubin. To begin with, Alec Bradley is a family company launching in 1996 by Alan Rubin. Today, they manufacture some of the world’s highest critically acclaimed premium cigars. Producing over 10 million cigars a year places them as one of world’s top cigar makers. The company was recently purchased by Altadis USA to become part of their Forged Cigar unit.
With attention to detail, this collaboration between these talented young men and the Raíces Cubanas factory in Danlí, Honduras produces an outstanding cigar. Kintsugi follows Blind Faith from 2018 and Gatekeeper from 2019. All things considered, at this point, it’s safe to say these guys are well on their way to becoming Master Blenders.
Out of all the accolades, Blind Man’s Puff describes it best. “After initial inspection I wasn’t sure what to expect, however, this cigar smoked fantastically and produced delicious flavors. From pre-light draw to last puff, the cigar performed above expectations and had great smoke output. Not exactly my cup of tea as it was a little sweeter than I prefer, but I would gladly smoke another. Fantastic smoke if you have under an hour. Nub was the best part. Puff slowly and enjoy the end my friends.” These words coupled with a score of 91 make Kintsugi another winner for sure!
To sum up, Alec Bradley Kintsugi is available in 4 popular sizes of 24 count boxes

When you get past the meaning of the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery, Kintsugi is the third creation of Alec and Bradley Rubin, the sons of the founder of Alec Bradley cigars. While not yet considered “Master Blenders” themselves, their collaboration with the Raíces Cubanas factory in Danlí, Honduras where most of the company’s cigars are made produced an outstanding cigar. I think the key word describing this medium to slightly full bodied 91 rated entry is complexity. You’ll get notes of espresso, cedar wood and some peppery spice along with an almost honey like sweetness. It looks like these guys are off to the races! Their other efforts worth trying include the Gatekeeper and Blind Faith brands.
