Description
Charter Oak Especiales Broadleaf is a very special selection from the Foundation Company. To begin with, Nick Melillo served as Drew Estate’s Executive Vice President of International Operations for many years before forming Foundation in 2015. His talent speaks for itself by blending some of Drew Estate’s best cigars such as Liga Privadas #9,T-52 and Dirty Rat along with Undercrown to name a few.
With attention to detail, this cigar has a sharp box pressing with an old school pigtail cap. The dark and oily Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper encases an all Nicaraguan filler and binder. Foundation describes their creation as follows. “Medium in body, expect rich notes of leather, spice, and hints of dark chocolate on the finish. This smooth maduro is light enough for morning but packs enough flavor for the nighttime.” Developing Palates highly suggests that fans of broadleaf seek this one out.
To sum up, Charter Oak Especiales Broadleaf comes in only one 5.5 x 48 sizes of 12 count boxes. Just so you know, this blend comes to market every three months comprising of only 500 boxes.
