Description
Charter Oak Habano is another great addition to the very popular Foundation lineup in 2021. To begin with, Nick Melillo served as Drew Estate’s Executive Vice President of International Operations for many years before forming Foundation in 2015. His talent speaks for itself by blending some of Drew Estate’s best cigars such as Liga Privadas #9,T-52 and Dirty Rat along with Undercrown to name a few.
With attention to detail, this Habano edition features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper encasing all vintage grade Nicaraguan fillers. No doubt the construction is perfect since its coming from A.J. Fernández’s prominent factory in Estelí.
Right out of gate, Cigar Aficionado scored this cigar a 92 with a spot on description. “The full draw and even burn deliver a creamy, dense smoke that envelopes the palate with impressions of nuts, pepper, walnut shell and sweet cappuccino, all of which recur on the long finish.” Cigar Dojo says “ Classic Habano balance of zesty spice and subtle sweetness” Halfwheel rates this blend at 93. Their words….. “This is not only a cigar I recommend trying, it is one I would suggest picking up in multiples to experience everything that it has to offer.” Bind Man’s Puff agrees with a rating of 92. They sum it up. “This should be a cigar to try on many people’s list. ”
No doubt, this Foundation Charter Oak Blend is another winner for Nick’s company.
To sum up, Charter Oak Habano comes in five popular sizes of 20 count boxes.
