Description
Crowned Heads La Imperiosa is a collaboration between Jon huber and My Fathers Cigars. To begin with, Nashville based Crowned Heads is headed up by four former CAO executives. After leaving CAO in 2010 they began producing unique cigars known for their Cuban-inspired packaging and blending. Today, the company remains committed to producing cigars of exceptional quality, flavor, and balance.
With attention to detail, La Imperiosa is the blending brainchild of John Huber himself. Containing a dark oscuro Ecuadorian grown Habano wrapper around Nicaraguan filler and binder, this one is a winner! Think a perfect draw delivering an amazing array of flavors and natural tobacco taste. The jury has definitely spoken. Cigar Dojo rates it a 90 as does the Cigar Authority. Halfwheel scores it a 91. And the highly critical folks at Blind Man’s Puff rate it a 92.
You too can be the judge and try these amazing cigars. We think you’ll agree with the critics. La Imperiosa is another top pick from this great company for sure.
To sum up, Crowned Heads La Imperiosa comes in three popular sizes of 24 count boxes.

Originally a Cuban brand from the early 1900’s, La Imperiosa
translates to ‘the imperative,’ or, “..that which is absolutely necessary or required.” The La Imperiosa artwork and band were inspired by the original Cuban vista and band of years gone by.
This full bodied stick opens big with a burst of red pepper, before easing off the throttle and settling onto the palate with dense and multi-layered notes of dark fruit, earth, and charred meat. The flavor is at once dense and approachable, with a massively-brooding muscular structure.
