Description
Espinosa Knuckle Sandwich Habano is one of the great entries from a collaboration between Eric Espinosa and Celebrity Chef Guy Fieri. To begin with, Eric Espinosa initially worked is sales with brands like Camacho, Drew Estate, Rocky Patel, Gurkha, and Alec Bradley. Since beginning Espinosa Cigars and the La Zona factory in Nicaragua in 2012, he is now know as one the industry’s finest boutique cigar makers. Today he oversees every aspect of his production.
With attention to detail, these cigars come out of A.J. Fernández’s northernmost San Lotano factory in Ocotal, Nicaragua. The Ecuadorian Habano wrapper encases all-Nicaraguan tobaccos throughout the binder/filler. The results speak for themselves.
With this in mind, Noted reviewer KATMAN and Cigar Dojo score it a 91.
To say nothing of Cigar Aficionado rating this great cigar a 93. They feel is a spectacular smoke from Erik Espinosa on its own. They say, “This Knuckle Sandwich is made at A.J. Fernandez’s San Lotano factory in Nicaragua and big flavors seem to be the theme here. The Corona Gorda produces a dense, ample smoke full of pistachio, almond and orange peel notes. Spicy accents of red and black pepper—and a big snap of leather—lead to a smoked hickory finish.” It’s no surprise this one became a top 25 cigar for the year as well.
To sum up, Espinosa Knuckle Sandwich Habano comes in three popular sizes of 20 count boxes
