Description
Foundation Charter Oak Connecticut is another very popular addition to the Foundation lineup. To begin with, Nick Melillo served as Drew Estate’s Executive Vice President of International Operations for many years before forming Foundation in 2015. His talent speaks for itself by blending some of Drew Estate’s best cigars such as Liga Privadas #9,T-52 and Dirty Rat along with Undercrown to name a few.
With attention to detail, this Connecticut edition features an Ecuadorian grown CT wrapper encasing all vintage grade Nicaraguan fillers. No doubt the construction is perfect since its coming from A.J. Fernández’s prominent factory in Estelí.
Stogie Review thinks this CT edition is great. They say, “Really enjoyed the flavors from the cigar especially the sweet creamy notes with the balanced nutty and woody notes. Overall, this is an excellent cigar” Halfwheel like it and feels “The price is great news and makes for an easy choice to try for yourself.” Cigar Authority heartily endorses this cigar with a stout rating of 92. Their take…”The price matched with tremendous flavor makes this box worthy times 2.”
There’s no doubt this mild to medium bodied smooth smoking cigar is a winner. The bonus is you can enjoy it anytime of the day.
To sum up, Foundation Charter Oak Connecticut comes in five popular sizes of 20 count boxes.

The name of this amazing edition is a shout out to a historic tree and its surrounding land in the Connecticut valley where Native American Indians would gather to grow their own smoking tobacco. And there’s your history lesson for today! Foundation owner’s love for his home state and the amazing leaves he grows is combined with a vintage blend of Nicaraguan and Indonesian inners producing an amazing cigar. This 93 rated stick yields a smooth, creamy, mild to slightly medium bodied flavor that’s complex and wonderful! The old school uncut foot is a nice touch as well.
