Description
Joya De Nicaragua Cuatro Cinco was created in 2015 to celebrate the company’s 45th anniversary. To begin with, Jonathan Drew’s creation of Drew Estate started a revolution of amazing cigars. From Acid to Liga Privada, Undercrown, Herrera Esteli and beyond. No matter which cigar he produces, smokers love them. What’s more important is that Joya de Nicaragua is the oldest cigar brand in Nicaragua. What should be noted is that Drew Estate is the exclusive distributor for these fantastic cigars in the United States
Giving it a respectable 92 rating, Cigar Aficionado’s description is short and sweet” Box-pressed with a full draw. The cigar starts sweet with hints of molasses that segue into spicier elements and big notes of hickory.” With attention to detail, all the tobacco in these cigars is already five years old prior to production. When ready, it continues to age in oak barrels. This time consuming process produces a complex, medium to full bodied smoke with amazing character. Cuatro Cinco is still one of today’s true Luxury cigars.
With this in mind, it’s no surprise why so many seasoned smokers are rediscovering this time honored brand. To sum up, Joya De Nicaragua Cuatro Cinco is available in four popular sizes of 10 count boxes.
If you consider yourself a fan of Joya and or consider yourself a connoisseur, Cuatro Cinco must be on your list. Check out all the other Joya De Nicaragua cigars available on The Cigar Thief HERE

50 years ago this brands Original entry (featured on our site) was considered one of the world’s best cigars with a reputation as a true cuban style “He Man” stick. If you’re a fan of mild smokes you would have stood clear of this 90+ rated long time full bodied old school favorite. It still remains one of my favorites with whiskey.
Drew Estate acquired the brand in 2008 and it wasn’t long before they began reinventing this iconic brand. In honor of Joya’s 45th anniversary the Master Blenders got together and created this box pressed masterpiece in 2015. By placing the 5 year old tobaccos in oak barrels and continuing to let it sit produces a complex, medium-full bodied smoke with an amazing draw. This 92 rated stick is still one of today’s true Luxury cigars. I highly recommend buying a box of ten and smoking one every other month allowing the others to continue aging. This is a great smoking experience for any one.
