Description
Joya de Nicaragua Dos Cientos is a very limited edition entry from this iconic company. To begin with, Jonathan Drew’s creation of Drew Estate started a revolution of amazing cigars. From Acid to Liga Privada, Undercrown, Herrera Esteli and beyond. No matter which cigar he produces, smokers love them. What’s more important to note is that Joya de Nicaragua is the oldest cigar brand in Nicaragua. What should be noted is that Drew Estate is the exclusive distributor for these fantastic cigars in the United States.
The complexly blended Dos Cientos was created to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Sept. 15, 1821. This event signaled when Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua declared their independence from the Spanish empire. With attention to detail, this great cigar contains some of finest tobacco these countries grow.
When the highly critical folks at Halfwheel gave it a 91 score, they described it perfectly. “Smooth as silk, extremely well-balanced and with virtually perfect construction, the Dos Cientos also features a profile that is full-flavored and has some nice transitions between each third.”
If you’re a fan of Joya and haven’t tried this great cigar, why wait. They surely won’t be around forever.
With this in mind, it’s no surprise why so many seasoned smokers are rediscovering this time honored brand. To sum up, Joya De Nicaragua Dos Cientos is only available in a single 6 x 54 Gran Toro vitola of 21 count boxes.

Fans of most traditional Joya De Nicaragua blends will notice that the body and strength of Dos Cientos Gran Toro stays squarely in the medium range. While its strength and intensity increase slightly as it moves along, none of the flavor notes like cedar wood, spices and natural tobacco taste get overpowering. This blend is another great entry for this iconic company to attract smokers that steer away from full strength and strong cigars.
