The publicly published history of this amazing cigar is worth sharing,
“Critical and commercial success are not always one and the same. The La Flor Dominicana Coronado is a perfect example. Previously called Coronado by La Flor, the cigar rated very well in Cigar Aficionado when it debuted in 2006, and has even appeared on our Top 25 list. For some reason, Coronado didn’t exactly soar commercially and interest for the cigar inexplicably waned, so Litto Gomez only produced it sporadically. This year, he decided to bring this great blend back. The brand has a new name, a new box and new bands, but the blend has not changed, and we’re glad it hasn’t. Each puff of this corona gorda exhibits a soft and mellow nuttiness that develops to an elegant combination of nutmeg and graham cracker with a subtle, spicy undertone.” If you’ve never had one, here’s your chance.
