Description
La Gloria Cubana 8th Street is a celebration of the storied history of cigar making on Miami’s 8th Street, a.k.a. “Calle do Ocho”. To begin with, La Gloria Cubana is a premium cigar brand originating in Cuba in 1885. No doubt, this brand has a rich history and is still known for its craftsmanship. The founding family of Ernest Perez-Carrillo fled to the United States and began to produce the first non-Cuban La Gloria Cubana blend in Miami at the El Credito cigar factory. Now owned by General Cigar, La Gloria Cubana offers a variety of blends, each with its own distinctive flavor profile and construction. These classic cigars are wonderfully complex and continue to be enjoyed by countless smokers.
With attention to detail the LGC 8th Street is a collaboration with the Master Blenders of El Titan de Bronze. Production takes place nearby the original El Credito factory. For starters, the Ecuadorian Havana Oscuro wrapper encases vintage fillers from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. Adding in a select Nicaraguan binder completes the formula. The result is a true artisan grade cigar.
Cigar Score gives this smoke their top rating with good things to say as well. “ A very enjoyable cigar with some wonderful complexity.” Small Batch Cigar plainly states the 8th street is a flavor bomb. Their take….”Smoke output is significant on this bad boy. It burns well and the draw is spot-on.” No doubt this very special cigar is another winner for this great brand.
To sum up, La Gloria Cubana 8th Street comes in one 6 x 50 size Toro in 10 count boxes. But Beware…..only 5000 boxes we made. Get them while we have them!
