Description
Macanudo Cru Royale is not your father’s Macanudo for sure! To begin with, literally everyone knows the name Macanudo. In 1971, General Cigar introduced Macanudo as a stand alone brand and the rest is cigar history! Production shifted from Jamaica to the Dominican Republic in October 2000 where it remains to this day.
When Macanudo launched this cigar it received high ratings. This four country blend produces a solid medium bodied smoke that’s smooth and consistent. For the record, Cru is far stronger than Macanudo Café.
With attention to detail, the company has brought new dimension to the company portfolio. Using a dark, flavorful Ecuadoran Habano leaf is the key. Cigar Aficionado bestows a score of 91 and named it one of their top 25 cigars of the year. Their reason for such accolades says it best. ‘This cigar draws and burns beautifully delivering leathery, nutty flavors, and a richness that isn’t ordinarily associated with the Macanudo line.”
What we know for sure is that this medium bodied Macanudo is a perfect choice for seasoned smokers and new comers alike.
To sum up, Macanudo Cru Royale is available in three popular sizes of 20 count boxes.

Rich Cucharo –
When Macanudo launched The Cru Royale it received a 91 rating and was named one of the top 25 cigars of the year. This not your Dad’s Macanudo for sure! This four country blend produces a solid medium bodied smoke that’s smooth and consistent. What caught my eye when this style was introduced was the Poco Gordo 4″x 60 ring size which was never offered by Macanudo before. Short, stout and to the point! I heartily recommend a five pack of these terrific cigars!
