Description
Macanudo Vintage 2006 is one this iconic company’s very special entries. To begin with, literally everyone knows the name Macanudo. However, Macanudo was originally the name created by the makers of the Punch Cuban cigars. In 1971, General Cigar introduced Macanudo as a stand alone brand and the rest is cigar history! It was originally made on the Island of Jamaica under the supervision of Master Blender, Ramón Cifuentes. Production shifted from Jamaica to the Dominican Republic in October 2000 where it remains to this day.
With attention to detail, this Macanudo is a phenomenal cigar showcasing only the most refined Connecticut Shade wrapper leaves from the 2006 crop. These exceptional cigars arrive in handsome mahogany boxes. When you lift the lid open, the fragrant cedar aroma and eye-catching golden metal cigar bands take over the senses. And that’s just for starters! Soon thereafter, the true cigar lover will savor the indulgence that can only be had with a time-honored classic.
The key to this extraordinary mild to medium bodied cigar is it’s complex blend. In short, it yields everything loved about Macanudo with more of everything. More natural tobacco taste, more flavor notes, more smoothness and more smoking enjoyment. No doubt, if you’re a fan of the brand, the Vintage 2006 must be on your list. Get a box of these amazing cigars today. You won’t be disappointed.
To sum up, Macanudo Vintage 2006 is available in both Robusto and Toro sizes of 12 count boxes.

The Macanudo Vintage 2006 is a mild to medium bodied special edition aimed squarely at the brand’s fan base. While they’re expertly made and and wonderfully presented, I for one feel that the sizzle doesn’t sell the steak with this one. But then again, taste is a personal preference.
