The medium to full bodied Partagas 1845 Classic was launched back in 2012 as an effort to introduce the brand with a friendlier price point around $6-$7. The four country blend result was a success among newer smokers with loyalists wanting more strength and intensity which they got when the line expanded. While Partagas 1845 Classic is not a very complex cigar, its well made with an open draw and delivers a consistent smoke with notes of hardwoods, spices and natural tobacco flavor making it more than acceptable in the morning with coffee as it is after dinner.
