richie –
Perdomo Lot 23 is a very well made, reasonably priced cigar available in three wrappers. Worth noting is that the tobacco for this blend is planted in September, harvested in January, fermented for a year, and aged in bales for at least three years before being finished and boxed. They’ve often been referred to as this company’s “Bread and Butter” brand.
This 90 rated Maduro edition is a medium to full bodied cigar with flavor notes of espresso and hardwoods with the great taste of naturally sweet tobacco is my favorite out of the three. The GORDITO size will give you everything this smoke has to offer.
The company says it best,”The PERDOMO Lot 23 Maduro features 5-year aged higher-priming Cuban-seed Nicaraguan Maduro wrappers that add a rich sweetness to the robust 5-year aged Cuban-seed Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos. The PERDOMO Lot 23 Maduro has complex flavors and outstanding aromas with hints of mocha and spice on the finish.”
