Description
Pichardo Clasico consists of two blends of Ace Prime which is a strategic distribution partner with Crowned Heads Cigars. To begin with, Nashville based Crowned Heads is headed up by four former CAO executives. After leaving CAO in 2010 they began producing unique cigars known for their Cuban-inspired packaging and blending. Today, the company remains committed to producing cigars of exceptional quality, flavor, and balance.
With attention to detail, both of these great cigars are the creations of one of the finest Master-Blenders in the world –Don. Eradio Pichardo along with Luciano Meirelles. The Sumatra possesses filler tobaccos from three different regions of Nicaragua and a Nicaraguan Habano binder. Encasing these leaves is an Ecuador Sumatra wrapper. The Maduro contains vintage Nicaraguan fillers and binder together with a Brazilian Arapiraca wrapper.
Summing up, with the medium bodied Sumatra, think flavor notes of earth, dark roast coffee, and a touch of pepper. On the Maduro side you have a medium plus body with an array of tastes including Coffee, Chocolate, Fruit, Hard Woods, Pepper. To this end, either one you choose gives you a great way to sample a masterpiece from true artisans.
Pichardo Clasico comes in two varieties of a 6.5 x 50 size Toro in 20 count boxes.

It’s become obvious that the folks at Crowned Heads continue to turn out amazing cigars for those that gravitate to medium bodied smoking experiences. The Pichardo Clasico offers all the taste and complexity that more robust cigars possess while delivering them in a gentler way. Garnering a 93 rating when it came to market didn’t
surprise me. This cigar’s balance, smoothness and complexity was almost a religious experience. Think natural tobacco taste, hardwoods, syrup, nuts and coffee beans for starters.
