Just in case you don’t know, Nish is Rocky’s brother. These cigars have an Ecuadorian grown Connecticut seed wrapper encasing an “Undisclosed” filler containing a Nicaraguan binder. The result is a medium to full bodied, complex cigar with the quality of the Rocky Patel brand at a friendlier price point. Xen is well made with an open draw yielding notes of buttered bread, black pepper, cedar wood and a bit of sweet caramel. The added bonus….at least for me is that Xen has a pretty high nicotine content giving them a nice twang on your palate. The Short Robusto is my favorite.
