When Villiger originally launched the medium to full bodied La Flor De Ynclan many years ago, it was not well received at all and vanished into cigar oblivion. If it wasn’t for the company’s owner Heinrich Villiger’s love and appreciation for premium cigars this re-released blend wouldn’t have been created. When La Flor De Ynclan returned in 2017, the result were stellar. Garnering a 93 rating and being named a top 25 cigar for the year was only the beginning of this great vitolas acceptance across the board. The following words said it best,
“This cigar is a fantastic smoke, sweet and charming from first puff to last, anchored by simple-yet-pleasing notes of chocolate and salt, and then refined by more precise intonations of walnut and orange marmalade.” I couldn’t agree more.
