PDR A Flores Privada BP Habano is formally known as the A. Flores 1975 Serie Privada Habano.
This PDR creation utilizes the same vintage filler/binder as it’s Maduro sister. The big difference here is the wrapper. Encasing the selected inner leaves is an exquisite Ecuadorian grown Habano. The results are better than anyone would expect.
Cigar Aficionado bestows the awesome score of 93 on this PDR creation. Naming it a top 10 of the year makes its greatness official. Blind Man’s Puff scores it an even higher 94. Their words speak volumes. “This cigar has an impeccable draw accompanying wonderful woody, cedary, creamy tasting notes with a med/full body to back it up.”

This PDR is the culmination of select Viso, Seco and Ligero tobaccos. The result is a mild to medium-body cigar of exceptional quality. PDR El Trovador A Flores Maduro is one of two excellent cigars in this line.
El Trovador Maduro contains the same complex blend as it’s Rosado counterpart. The big difference here is the wrapper. Adding a grade A dark and oily Mexican Maduro leaf to encase the filler/binder makes for a special smoke. Retaining it’s medium body, the maduro wrapper adds a sweetness to the overall taste. Think notes of chocolate and earth and spice for starters.
Cigar Century gives this dark knight a respectable 90 rating. Cigar Aficionado ups the score to 91 with a perfect description. “This box pressed cigar is cloaked in a dark, oily wrapper. Bold impressions of red pepper, leather and oak are balanced by sweeter notes of cherry and chocolate. The finish smacks of coffee bean. It draws evenly throughout.”

Of all the accolades this cigar receives, the folks at Blind Man’s Puff say it best.”Rarely is ever do I have a cigar experience that is as epic as this was. The flavors and aromas were beyond extraordinary and they worked so well together . Citrus, salted nuts, slight sweetness, and a retro so smooth it should be criminal. I’d easily give this a 98. Multi box worthy. Trust me, you’re gonna enjoy this if you enjoy what time and great tobacco can do together. ”
