The dark, oily appearance of this cigar may lead you to believe its something its not. In fact, this stick is a very rich medium to full bodied smoke with a subtle sweetness paired with complex, earthy natural tobacco flavors. They burn slowly and cooly and can be enjoyed from start to finish. I love the Double Coronas when I have the time to kill.

Espinosa 601 La Bomba is one of Erik Espinosa’s great blending achievements. and still considered one of the best full bodied cigars made today.
The jury is in with the critics at Developing Palates. They tell it like it is for sure! “The La Bomba was an enjoyable, full strength and full bodied experience.” Stogie Guys chime in as well. “La Bomba is an enjoyable smoke with plenty to offer.
Blind Man’s Puff obviously agrees. “A solid, well made, medium-full bodied smoke with a solid flavor profile that was very good throughout.”
The guys at Cigar Dojo describe it perfectly. “The spices of Christmas filled my palate, so many flavors in this cigar: hazelnut, pepper and cinnamon, intertwined with an earthy fullness, for a smooth, creamy texture.”
If you consider yourself a lover of full bodied and flavorful smokes, La Bomba has your name on it!

We’ve often spoke about age as it pertains to tobacco. When this edition launched ten years ago, many felt it came to market before its time. As the guts of this stick have matured and seasoned, their encasement around a Porterhouse grade of USA Grown Connecticut Shade wrapper turned the tide. In fact, this medium to full bodied stick has gotten so good they’re difficult to find most of the time. Get them when we have them.
